Next, double-click on the ‘Home Position and Reference Point’ node under the ‘Machine Description’ node. These settings contain all the information related to the machine home position. Copy all the settings shown in the graphic below.
The ‘Reference’ home position type gives the user the ability to generate moves to the machine home position relative to the workpiece or the machine’s ‘hard home’ position. This is the most common method used for CNC machine tools with FANUC controls. The settings in the GOHOME frame allow the user to determine the order of output for each axis address, as well as the total number of GOHOME blocks generated by the post-processor.
Make sure to review what is displayed when you allow the cursor to hover over a specific input field or control as well as what is in the information area at the bottom of the interface as you move through the various input fields and controls.
