Optional Post-Processor Words

Next, double-click on the ‘Optional Post-processor Words’ node from the tree view. This area contain specific commands that deal with various utility functions such as coolant M-codes, sequence numbers, optional stop, block skip, etc. We will start with Coolant.

The COOLNT Command

Double-click on the ‘The COOLNT Command’ node under the ‘Optional Post-processor Words’ node. Copy all the settings shown in the graphic below.

Make sure to review what is displayed when you allow the cursor to hover over a specific input field or control as well as what is in the information area at the bottom of the interface as you move through the various input fields and controls.

The DELAY Command

Next, double-click on the ‘The DELAY Command’ node under the ‘Optional Post-processor Words’ node. Next, select the ‘General’ tab.

Place a check in the ‘DELAY facility available’ checkbox. This tells the post-processor that it will support a DELAY command and produce a dwell in the NC code that is output.

Place a check in the ‘DELAY in seconds available’ checkbox. This tells the post-processor that it will support a DELAY command and produce a dwell in the NC code that is output. Next, select the ‘Seconds’ tab. Copy all the settings shown in the graphic below. Make sure to review what is displayed when you allow the cursor to hover over a specific input field or control as well as what is in the information area at the bottom of the interface as you move through the various input fields and controls.

Click on the OK button when you are satisfied with all settings.

The END Command

Next, double-click on the ‘The END Command’ node under the ‘Optional Post-processor Words’ node. Copy all the settings shown in the graphic below.

The INSERT Command

Next, double-click on the ‘The INSERT Command’ node under the ‘Optional Post-processor Words’ node. Copy all the settings shown in the graphic below.

Click on the OK button when you are satisfied with all settings.

Next, double-click on the ‘The OPSKIP Command’ node under the ‘Optional Post-processor Words’ node. Copy all the settings shown in the graphic below.
